ONE SARGENT 1902 SEARS ROEBUCK DOOR KNOB BACKPLATE   H-26101 (17599)
Nice steel press and brass stained or brass washed circa 1902 back plates from a Sears Roebuck house but made by Sargent for Sears.
Five are available as the auction begins, brass stained or washed, very clean plates.  Have not cleaned the plates, have  1/2″ diameters knob opening, plates measure 1 3/4″ wide and 5 1/2″ high.  The drop on the plates (the distance between the center of the knob post hole and the center of the round portion at the top of the key hole) is 2 1/8″.
Terrific for anyone restoring a Sears Roebuck home from the early 20th Century.
